The DO-254 Users Group includes people who are looking for common approaches, advice, help to mature DO-254 and applicants knowledge level, challenges of both EASA / FAA certification, looking for a common sense, want to understand what to we can provide to our customers, see a lot of confusion and uncertainty from customers, learning FAA position, mature as the standard assures, consistency of applying DO-254 across the board, huge culture change to apply a process so to help them understand the value, sharing lessons learned, hardware processes not nearly as mature as SW, what’s required between programs can be radically different and need consistency, share experience, every DER has a different story! We need consistency.
