Qualtech’s Compliance Management System (QCMS) was developed by Level A FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DER’s) and is considered to be one of the fastest, easiest and most cost effective ways to develop Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware in compliance with RTCA DO-178C, DO-278A and DO-254.
The QCMS integration starts by creating a fully compliant framework within the organization. This is done by implementing and applying a complete set of “very detailed” document templates, establishing a complaint infrastructure. This initial integration is then supplemented with on-going training and support. Once key members of the organization are trained, the templates are tailored to reflect the project-specific processes and those processes that are already established within the organization. Then the QCMS web-based compliance management tools are integrated into the organization and used to develop, store and manage all of the objective evidence of compliance. Once the Web-based tools are in place, all of the objective evidence of compliance is available in a single interface, making it simple to retrieve. Finally, QCMS on-going support is provided to the client by Level A FAA DER’s at no additional cost.
